THE MAYORALTY.
AIR. W. MILLER’S CANDIDATURE
There was a full attendance of the executive of Air. W, Aliller’s committee at. the meeting held last evening, Air. A. F. Kennedy being in the chair. Important work was. done, and a plan of campaign decided upon. Short addresses on municipal questions were delivered by Messrs Miller, Sheridan, Alarm, »Drs. 1/Williams and Collins. The chairman reported on the work already done, and exhorted the members of the executive to make themselves acquainted with the questions touched upon by the speakers, so that they’might be in a position to emphasise the necessity for a change in the Alayoral office. The tactfulness displayed by Air. Miller, at all times and his faculty for extracting good results from those under him were points to which special attention was drawn. Several reports of a satisfactory nature were then considered, and. the meeting closed.
