Barker, H. Black, E. Nolan, Adams, and Sweet. Aiisses Taylor, B, Black, and Lewis were elected members of the club.
NEW LINKS AT HASTINGS
The Hastings Golf Club, who unfortunately had to give up their links at Southland; road, owing- to the land changing hands, have already arranged for a new course. Thanks to the generosity of Air William Nelson, who has never failed to- assist where sport is concerned, the club have secured a fine stretch of very suitable country situated opposite Twyford, on the Omaha road under four miles from the Hastings post office,'by a perfect road. . The committee have already .mapped ■out the course, . -which will be of nine holes only ; the work of* preparing the greens will be put in hand at once and the course is expected to be in working -order by the' middle of April.
