SERVIAN CROWN PRINCE’S RENUNCIATION. STATEMENT BY THE CABINET. United Press Association—Copyright. BELGRADE, March 26. Some persons declare that the discovery of a military conspiracy among the Crown Prince’s friends against King Peter is the true explanation of tho renunciation of the throne. The news has caused a tremendous sensation in Servia, not immixed with a strong feeling of relief. •, The Servian Cabinet has issued a statement that it is incompetent to deal with the Prince’s renunciation. The King should decide. The groom’s accident was due to falling downstairs. The inquest failed to reveal internal injuries. The Cabinet considers that further investigation is needless. (Received March 28, 4.15 p.m.) BELGRADE, March 27., King Peter received the leaders of .the political parties and discussed the Crown Prince’s renunciation. There are indications that it will be withdrawn. The Prince may possibly travel. (Received March 27, 4.30 p.m.) It is considered in softie quarters that the Crown Prince’s renunciation is due to his extreme disappointment at Servia’s isolation. A TRIUMPH OF GERMAN DIPLOMACY. . THE “TIMES” PERTINENT COMMENT. (Received March 27, 4.30 p.m.) BELGRADE, March 27. M. Isvolsky’s decision that Russia is prepared to recognise the annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina became known at St. Petersburg from foreign telegrams. The discovery caused the greatest excitement -and the most heated comments in the Russian newspapers. LONDON, March 27. The “Times” shows that after military precautions by Austria and Germany to prevent- any resistance to the Balkan agreements with the Porte, German diplomacy took the field at St. Petersburg, and wrested from M. Isvols'ky the declaration mentioned. The “Times” adds that in the light of Germany's temproary triumph, which cannot tend to permanent peace, the censure debate in. the House of Commons assumes a new and increased cignificance. The British navy, concludes the “Times,” has stood more than once between Europe and the claims of the same great Continental Power to be the sole and supreme arbiter of its-des-tinies. CROWN PRINCE’S RENUNCIATION SIGNED. PRINCE ALEXANDER TO BE PROCLAIMED HEIR. (Received March 29, 1 a.m.) BELGRADE, March 28.
