NOMINATIONS. For Open Events, Nos. 1,4, 5, and 18, close at Mr. Ben. Tanner’s, tobacconist, at 9 o’clock p.m. on SATURDAY, APRIL 3rd. Nominations for all departmental Handicaps close with Mr. P. Bowler, at Taruheru, and with Mr. Downey, at the Sheepfarmors’ Works, at 5 p.m. on SATURDAY, APRIL 3rd. , Nominations for the open events? must be accompanied by cash, and a list of the two years’ previous performances. • ■' RULES AND REGULATIONS. All protests must -be lodged with the Secretary, in writing, within ten minutes after the disputed' event, accompanied by a deposit of 10s; such deposit to be forfeited should the protest not be-sustained. , . - ' -• . r The Committee’s decision to be final on all points. Every competitor taking part in any event, other- than the open events, must be a bona-fide employee of- either freezing works to the satisfaction of the committee.
