TRINITY LADIES’ SEWING GUILD.
.A special meeting of Holy Trinity Ladies Sewing Guild was held yesterday 'afternoon in the Church of England Schoolroom. The vicar (the Rev. L. Dawson Thomas) occupied the chair. The principal business of the meeting was the ejection of a president oF . 1 the Guild. The unanimous choice of* • ladies fell upon Mrs. C. A. dcLauto.ir. Mrs. deLautour thanked the ladies, and promised to do her best for the society, relying upon the help of fluemembers.
Mrs. H. W. Williams and Hrs. Hughes were added to the committee. After much discussion, it was decided 'to meet on Friday afternoons, as heretofore, at 2.30.- The evening meeting was fixed for Thursdays at 7 o’clock. Many proposals as to the work, and the disposal of the funds, were brought forward, and deferred to a future meeting. The first work meeting will he held on the Friday after Easter.
