A DYNAMITE OUTRAGE
NEW YORK, April 1
An attempt was made to dynamite a viaduct in course of erection, at a - cost of a quarter of a million pounds, between Hoboken and Jersey City. The explosion damaged a small portion of the bridge, and demolished a building in the vicinity.

LONDON, April 1
The estate of James Farmer, a former member of the New Zealand Legislative Council, has been sworn at £79,756.
A BOUNDARY DISPUTE
MELBOURNE, April 2
The Governments of Victoria and South Australia are at variance over the disputed boundary of territory. The Premier of South Australia threatened to put surveyors on the disputed area. Mr Murray, Premier of Victoria, says he will treat them as trespassers and put them off.
