GISBORNE CLUB. The green of the Gisborne Club was in good playing order on Saturday afternoon, and there was a fairly good muster of members thereon. There was .a good muster of players at the Turanganui Club’s green on Saturday afternoon, when a number of enjoyable games were played. The Handicap Singles have been further advanced, a game played resulting: J. B. Levdon (20) beat E. Cussen (19).On the '6th head the scores were 3 all, hut on the 10th head Ley don was one to the good —7—6. On the 16th head Cussen had reversed matters—l2 seven, while Ley don scored one, the final head resulting: Cussen 19, Leyclon 12. As Leydon received a handicap of seven points, the scores were thus level, necessitating an extra head. In the play-off Leydon secured a point and won. . The completion of the first round in the Handicap Singles has been extended to Easter Monday, when all unplayod games will be forfeited.
