Mrs. Marie Cridland, daughter of ■Queensland’s Chief sued' her aunt, Sabina Cooper, a wealthy lady, for slander.. During an inquiry into Jiappenings on Sabina Cooper’s launch, -the aunt was, alleged to have reflected -on Mrs. Cridland'’s moral character. A Earthing damages was awarded, each :jparty to pay her own costs.
