CORRESPONDENCE.

' [Correspondence on public matters is welcomed at all times, but it must be distinctly understood that this journal is in no way associated with the opinions of its correspondents.]

THE MAYORALTY

[To The Editor.]

Sir, —I think you are making a mistake in advocating the claim® of Air A 1 filer as next mayor. He may be all very well, but he has not shown uS any reason why we should displace the present- mayor, who is a most progressive man. The fact that he has had to fight against an un progressive Council should not count- against him. 1 think if you put in a new Council and give Lysnar another chance he will make the town go ahead. —I am, etc., “A LYSNARITE.”
