The Rev. C. C. Griffin and Mrs. Griffin left for Napier by the Monowai last night. ' , , ~ ~ Captain A. D. Chrisp, of the L.S.b. Co.’s Koromiko, arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon, to speivu a feiv il ivs while the vessel is in dock in the northern port. He returns to Auckland on Thursday morning. Signor R. Braga to, Government vitioultural export, is spending a few days in Gisborne, having arrived from Auckland. by the s.s. Momnvai yesterday.
