UNATTACHED ENGINES COLLIDE. NO FATALITIES. United Press Association— Copyright MELBOURNE, April 8. Two unattached engines, each carrying three tons of coal, backed i..jo each other at Spencer street station with terrific force. Lumps of coal and iron were thrown high in'the air and into the cabs and engines, striking the drivers and firemen. Fireman Morrali received severe injuries about the head, and was detained at the hospital. The driver of the other engine and two firemen were slightly injured. Both engines were badly smashed.
