NAPIER, April 11. The death occurred this evening of Captain William J. Gibbons, licensee of the Crown Hotel, Port Ahunri. lie was formerly connected with the Wel-lington-Patea shipping trade, and was a Past Grand Deacon of the Masonic Grand Lodge oi' New Zealand.
