He left Christchurch git- o a.m., and reached Dunedin at 5.21 p.in., tints reducing the record of 14 hours 1 mjnute put up by Hu mm on -January 27th by 1 hour 40 minutes. He. punctured his tyre on three occasions, but-, with the exception of a delay of a quarter of an hour in one cast', no time was lost.
