Am regards the detention in the Bay, it is quite unUr to blame any official, for the unpleasant circumstances m which the passenger's were placed were due entirely to the Aveather and the' unsafe condition of the river channel. Tho position was a very difficult one and tlie company’s Officials spared no pains xi alleviate the discomfort unavoidably used ibo those in their charge.—Ed. G.T.]
