MELBOURNE, April 21

Mr. Josiali Thomas, Federal Post-master-General, speaking at Brunswick, referring to- the great pressure brought to hear on Mr. Fisher to present a Dreadnought to tho Imperial Government, said that tho Government had been threatened that, if it did not carry out a certain proposal, it would bo displaced. Let it he so. It was prepared to go out of office retaining the esteem of its supporters irather than lose that support and remain on the Ireasuij benches, with the support of those who had the Labor cause.
