He has taken up the London “Daily Mail's” challenge to walk 45.000 miles in six years. He left England in March of last year, and has now covered about 8200 miles on foot, an average of 25 miles a day. He is. earning his living by giving lecture* it being a condition oi the challenge that 1,0 must make iiis living on route. He leaves for Amklind in two or three d a y.s.
