Drysdale’s action against Lord Roseberry (cabled on February 25th) has been dismissed. The judge remarking, in justice to the plaintiff, that the result of the investigation of accounts was satisfactory. [The action referred to was for slander, brought against Lord Rosebery by Mr A. L. Drysdale, h:s late factor, the damages being laid at £10,000.]
