SLIP IN MAMAWATU GORGE

WOODVILLE, April 22
A slip came down on the railway lino in the Manawatu Gorge this morning, alter tho morning train to Palmerston got through. The slip) delayed the midday and also tho 2 o’clock trains from Palmerston. The line was cleared about 4.30 p.m., which enabled passengers from both trains to reach Woodiville station about 5 o’clock.
