Bates’ weather forecast.to 3 p.m. to-day : Very wet and cloudy weather probable 'north of New Plymouth and Napier, With high westerly winds, and a further fall in the barometer. Cold and wet weather, with snow in the highlands, and probably southwards, with strong southerly winds and a steady rise in the barometer.
