THE WEATHER

The thunder storm that came over the district on Saturday evening developed into - a cold, wintry blast, with heavy showers of rain and hail on Sunday, while heavy • showers fell yesterday. Heavy rains are reported from all'over the country districts, and many of the rivers and creeks, were very much swollen. Inquiries made last evening showed that all Messrs JBedstone and Sons’ coaches reached their respective destinations safely.
