At the trial of the youth Williams for the murder of Johnston at Bsewaa in December last, .accused made a statement that lie was working for Johnston. They quarrelled. Johnston struck him. On the spur of the moment he picked up a hammer and struck and killed Johnston. He sank the body in the river and afterwards sold Johnston’s horse and waggon. (Received April 28, 9.37 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 28. Tbe jury disagreed in the Weewaa murder-case.
