In the House of Commons the Trade -Boards Bill' providing -against sweating, was read-a second time, unopposed. Lord Lyttelton considered too much latitude was allowed the Board, of ' Trade. Mr J. A. Balfour, the leader of the. -Opposition, in a sympathetic speech, said it was impossib'o to refuse to consider foreign competition. THE WELSH CHURCH. THE BISHOP OF LONDON’S OPINIONS. The Bishop of London states that when the Welsh Church grievance is boiled down it is this, that four Welsh bishops sat in the House of Lords and bv all means let four stout Non-con-formist ministers sit there also. He ■ cdjnsiders it most interesting to hear tile anguments of both parties.
