Araroa direct, and arrived in the Bay ate on Friday evening. iSlio brought ;wenty passengers -to this port, overiarried from Coast bays, and also a arge quantity of cargo. After a stay if about an hour the Flora left again ui Friday night for south. She arrived it Napier yesterday morning, and was ixpected to leave there yesterday afernoon for Wellington, Nelson, and irobahly Picton. It was the original ntention of the Company to put tho flora on the slip on arrival at Wellingon, but owing to her having overeat--ied her Coast cargo this will Pot be one until slie returns to Auckland. After two or three vain ■'tempts to et’ round the East Cape, the U.S.S. ports Squall, the weather paving me clerked, - arrived in the Bay r n Friday right, and was berthed at the wharf t midday on Saturday. Owing to her ping so -late a special effort was r. ado •» discharge her cargo and load 500 loep for Auckland in t’me to Tt her ivay .at midnight on Saturday. This as successfully accomplished, but hen the vessel was moving down the ver she got - aground opposite the ever end or the freezing works:and retained fast there until yesterday afirnoon, when she refloated and projected on her voyage to Auckland.
