TAIHAPE, May 1, Obituary-: George.-,-Fannin, late chief clerk of the Lands office, Invercargill. Deceased, who was 68 years of age, held a record of 33 years of Government service. He only retired last March, and came here last Saturday to settle avith his second son. He was stricken; with pneumonia yesterday.
