MELBOURNE, May 3
The Hon. Josiali Thomas, the Federal Postmaster-General, cannot understand the New Zealand Minister of Marine's recent statement that there is no chance of Australia joining the All-Red scheme under the conditions outlined by Canada, since the Federal Government had made special arrangements upder which six vessels were to be built. Mr. Thomas points out that the only six vessels with which the Federal Government is concerned “are the new boats for the Orient service, and they have no relation whatever to the All-Red scheme.
