RAILWAY STATION ROBBED. NIGHT WATCHMAN ARRESTED, United Press Association—Copyright (Received May 5, 10 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 5. Early this morning, Kerr, night officer at Marrickville railway station, was found gagged and bound. He stated that, hearing a knock, he opened the door and received a blow. A man entered, and a struggle followed. A second man appeared, and, after gagging and binding Kerr, the two rifled the safe of £2B in coin and stamps, relieved Kerr of two gold watches and his cash, and decamped. (Received May 6, 1.10 a.m.) * SYDNEY, May 5. Kerr has been arrested on a charge of stealing the money from the safe.
