A BY-ELECTION. LABORITE VICTORY. United Press Association—Copyright (Received May 5, 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 5. The by-election for tiie Attercliffo division of Sheffield to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. Langley on the ground of health, resulted as follows: —Pointer (Labor) 3531, King Faldow (official Unionist) 3380, Lambert (Liberal) 3175, Muir Wilson (Independent Unionist, who objected to the selection of an outsider) 2803. The Laborites attribute their victory, besides the Tory split, to the serious unemployed difficulty at Attercliffo, and the consistent Laborite advocacy of the Right co Work Bill. The Liberals are deeply disappointed.
