Half-time was eventually sounded, and at resumption of play the Civil Servants appeared determined to retrieve their position, and Stagpoole and Hargreaves made theraselve* very ti'ou >*osomc to tho M’est End backs, wlio lor some time proved to he eqiial to the occasion, hut at last the Civil Servants secured a very well earned goal. No further scores were obtained, and tunc sounded with positions Most End 3. Civil Service 1.
