BETTING WITH AN INFANT.. [Per Tress Associations] FELLDING, May 6. At the Fcilding S.M. Court to-day Charles Mitchell, a bookmaker, pleaded guilty to a charge of betting with an infant. The facts were that Mitchell made a bet with a lad named Hooker at the Feilding Easter races. Hooker being only 18 year old. A fine of iUW was inflicted. A number of booksellers and others were charged at the Magistrate's Court to-dav with selling copies of the NonZealand “Truth” containing immoral matter.
