The following; is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ weather forecast: High "westerly winds arc proha bio generally with unsettled and squally weather. The low pressure indicated on Wednesday is iiow still more evident off! the "West Coast of the South Island, but will probably unite with the westerly wave of low pressure now advancing over ihe Tasman Sea,. Northerly winds—strong gale—will then succeed in ail parts south of New Plymouth and Napier, hut a slight rise in the barometer with squally winds may occur ror a few hours in the meantime.
