TWO MEN MISSING

NELSON, May 7. On Tuesday morning AV. Light'bancl, which go so far towards brightening named Jackson, son of Mr. Ralph Jackson, a well-known citizen, left Kelson in a Canadian canoe intending to camp at Rabbit Island, about six miles from the city. They took with them a dog. the body of which was washed up at Tahuna last night. Fears are entertained that the canoe has been upset and the occupants drowned. The police have been all dav searching the island, but -up to the present nothing has been soon of either of the men or the canoe or any traces of a camp. The search is still proceeding.
