Waiapu, a. 5.,, in the bay. The three-masted scow Korora arrived in the Bay on Friday from Auckland, and berthed at the wharf at 8 o’clock on Saturday morning. Her - cargo consists of 102 tons of coal and ■l5O pipes for Messrs Robb Bros., and ].7ooft of timber for the Public Works Department. The U.S.tS. Co.’s Mokoia arrived from south on Saturday morning with a large number of passengers for this port. She continued her voyage to Auckland and Sydney during the forenoon. The IT.S.S. Co.’s Squall left for Auckland on Saturday morning at 7 a.m. She leaves Auckland again this evening for Tologa Bay and Gisborne. The Westport Coal Co.’s Regulus arrived in the Bay late on Saturday night, and was berthed at the wharf at 8 a.in. yesterday. Captain Cummings -‘piloted the vessel up the channel. She brings 500 tons of coal for the local branch of the company. Captain Gibbons, late of the s.s. Moa, is now in command of the s.s. Regulus, vice Captain Mitchell, resigned. The U.S.S. Co.’s Flora arrived from Napier and south early yesterday morning, and left again at 10 a.m. for Coast ports and Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai left Auckland at 3.40 p.m. on Saturday, and arrived here after 4 p.m. There was only one launch, at 5 p.m., and the -vessel sailed for south during the evon iii° p * Messrs Richardson, and Co.’s Ruru arrived from Napier last evening with a quantity .of produce for this port. She loaves to-dav for Capo Runaway. The U.S.S. Coir’s Koromiko was expected to arrive from Newcastle, ria •Auckland, about midnight last niglu; She brings about 500 tons of coal for this port, and on discharge proceeds to Napier and Westport. The ketch Coronation is due to sail to-day for Tologa Bay and .Auckland. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. s Waiwer-a. is due here from south on Wednesday to load frozen meat. The next Tvser Co.’s steamer to load at Gisborne is the Mimiro. The auxiliary schooner Waiapu arrived in the Bay late on Saturday mght and was anchored there all day yesterday. She has a general cargo for this -noit including a quantity of explosFvW which will be landed at the groyne this morning, alter which the vessel will be berthed at the wharf.
