CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY. There was a good attendance of billiard enthusiasts in the Victoria Saloon last ■ evening) when a most interesting game in-the championship tournament was played between “P. Pascoe ’ and K. Austen.-- The. final result was in
favor of the former player* by 300 to 223, after a game lasting 67 minutes. The winner’s best breaks were 25, 23, and 20, while S 3 and 20 wcro Austen’s best efforts.. To-night the competition will be continued, when “F. McPliie” meets To Eani Pore at 7.30 p.m.
