At the conclusion, Mr Deakin announced: "All I can say is that the situation is clearer after our talk.”
Speaking at the laird Mayor’s banquet prior to the conference, Mr Deakin declared it was the duty of every mail to endeavor to reduce the present unstable position of Federal poli-* tics to stability. There required to bo two parties only to give effect'to ;the Constitution.
