THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ general weather forecast: Moderate to strong southerly winds, backirg to westward, are probable generally, with changeable and showery .weather. Barometer rising slowly north of .New Plymouth and Napier, but a fall in probable southwards, which will cause steeper gradients and strong westerly winds after about 12 hours.
