WEDDING.

WRIGHT—WILSON. A wedding of considerable local interest was solemnised at Holy Trinity Church yesterday by Yen. Archdeacon Williams, assisted by Rev. F. W. C-hat-terton, when Rev. H. Nelson Wright, curate of St. Michael’s, Christchurch, was married to Miss Mabel Wilson, youngest daughter of Mr. F. J. Wilson, senr., of this town. The church was prettily decorated by the girl friends of the bride, and the service was fully choral. Mr. E. N. Sidebottom presided at the organ, and played the Wedding March as the bridal party left the church.

The bride was given away bv her father, and looked charming in a pretty gown of ivory satin, trimmed with old lace, and wearing a veil, with a wreath of orange blossoms. Miss Ada Wilson, sister of the bride, was her bridesmaid, and she was dressed iu pale blue ninon, over glace, with blue hat. The Rev. F. C. Long acted as best man, and the groomsmen wore the two brothers of the bridegroom, Messrs William and Cyril Wright. Mrs. Wilson, the bride’s mother, wore a black merveilleux dress and a bonnet with black and white plumes. Mrs. Jas. McKenzie, the bride’s eldest sister, wife of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Wellington, wore a black silk dress with laet trimmings and cream front, and black hat with pink roses and feathers. Miss L. McKenzie wor« a cream dress with blue hat. The bridegroom’s present to tho bride was a bicycle, and he received from her a gold sovereign case. The happy couple received very many costly presents, includincr several cheques. The Ladies’ Guild, the choir, the Sunday School teachers, and the children of the bride’s Sunday School class also gave useful presents. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of tho bride’s parents at the weddin" breakfast, and the bridal pair left for'south bv the s.s. Mahcno last night, on route for their future homo in Christ, church. The bride’s travelling dress was of navy blue cloth with b.uo hat and sable muff and furs.
