Bates’ general weather forecast:- Moderate to strong southerly winds, and little movement of the barometer, probable north of New Plymouth and Nanier; increasing westerly and noitherlv winds elsewhere, with a fating barometer. Pair weather is probable o-eneraty. A low pressure area is due to pli over the south, and culminate about the 17tli. \ _____
