The “Standard’s” special representative sent to Germany reports that Krupp’s are employing 70,000 men, an increase of 22,000 within the year. The Germania, Germany’s Dreadnought, has been launched. Four more are building, and five are being laid down. Four cruisers are building, also nine torpedoes and destroyers, 24 submarines, and .six gunboats.
