Tlio results of the senior Rugby matches played yesterday were as follows : —Ponsonby beat North Shore by 24 points to nil ; City defeated Newton by 23 points to nil; and University obtained a victory ovor Parnell by 8 points to nil. , CHRISTCHURCH MATCHES. CHRISTCHURCH, May 15. Tho following were the results of today’s football matches: —Old Boys 3 v. Christchurch 0; Albion 4v? Canterbury College 0; Linwood 6 v. Merivalo 3. DUNEDIN MATCHES. , DUNEDIN, May 15. The football matches were continued to-day in fine weather, but tho grounds were rather heavy on account of tho rain in the morning.
