The Mttleship' Temeraire, which has been placed in commission with the Home fleet, has searchlights of 4,000,000 candlepower, and a wireless telegraphic radius of 1100 miles.

'[The Temeraire is a vessel of the 1906-7 programme, and was launched in August, 1907. She is a battleship of 18,600 tons, 23,000 horse-power, and 21 knots speed. She belongs to the Dreadnought class.]
