RECIPROCITY BETWEEN AUSTRALIA AND CANADA. NEGOTIATIONS~RE-OPENED. United Press Association—Copyright MELBOURNE, May 17. Mr Ross, the Canadian trade representative, interviewed Mr Tudor, Minister for Customs, to re-open the question of preferential trade botween Australia and Canada. Mr Tudor stated that be would be glad to consider concrete proposals, and while fairly safeguarding Australian trade, he would be happy if an arrangement could be made of advantage to ’both countries.
