AMY BOCK’S EFFECTS SOLD.
FANCY PRICES REALISED.

DUNEDIN, May 17. There was a crowded attendance at Samson’s auction rooms to-day, when Amy Bock’s personal effects were sold. These consisted chiefly of wedding presents and Amy Boric’s personal belongings. The wedding cake brought £4 10s. suit of pyjamas .res (from a New York buyer), wedding ring £2 11s, and two keepers £1 Bs. A gold and green stone chain realised £3 10s, and a mulf chain £6; five bangles fetched from £3 5s downwards. The wedding suit realised £3 '7s 6d, and a fancy vest 15s. A carved tray brought £2 2s, and a gentleman’s dressing; case £6 ss, the ladies’ case realising £3 12s 6d. A shaving mug, which cost about a shilling, realised! Bs, a pair of brushes brought £2 15s, and a mirror £1 16s. A dress rug realised .£5 15s, and four brocohes about £2 5s each. The articles were chiefly nought after as curios, for a cigarette case brought 14s and a fountain pen 16s.
