TURANGANUI CLUB.
At the Turanganui Club’s green yesterday afternoon another match in tho Bennett Cup singles was played, the result being — J. Colley (16) beat J. J. Martin (5). —Both players agreed to decide the game on fifteen heads. At the commencement both bowlers kept very even, being 2 all on the 4tli head and 4 all on the 6th head. Then Colley scored on all the remaining heads excepting one, on wliiclr Martin obtained a single. On the 14th head Colley led by 11, and the game concluded. Martin now meets O. F. Lewis in his last match, his other opponent, Mr. Stormont, having left the district. , Should fine weather ensue to-day, it is expected there will be a good attendance of bowlers on the green this afternoon, when afternoon tea will* be provided. The semi-finals in the Handicap Singles arc to be played to-day.
