Co.’s Monowai arrived rom South early yesterday morning, ind left later for Auckland. Messrs Huddart, Parker and Co.’s Victoria arrived from Sydney and Auckland yesterday, and left again in die evening. The U.S.S. Co.’s Squall, from Auckland via Tologa, arrived yesterday afternoon with a general cargo, and sails for Auckland direct to-day. The IT. S.S. Co.’s Flora left Auckland at 8 on Tuesday evening for Coast ports, Gisborne, and South. The U.S.S. Co.’s Talune arrives from South early on Saturday morning. Nelson Bros.’s new tug steamer Hipi is expected to arrive from Auckland to-day. A wire was received from Mercury Bay, Stating that she had left there on Tuesday afternoon. The Hipi, which was built by Mr. Bailey, ;jun., of Auckland, is a well-constructed wooden tug, possessing powerful engines, and' will be used to tow the lighters from the wharf to the steamers loading in the bay. The U.S.S. Co.’s Maitai will make a trip to Auckland and return to Dunedin instead of the Talune, as shown im the May time-table. The Maitai will leave Dunedin on Sunday, May 30, and will probably be a day late in arriving at Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai, on arrival at Dunedin on Friday, 28th May, will withdraw for overhaul, and take up her time-table again on Friday, June 11th.
