A CASE THAT FAILED

DANNEVIRTvE, May 19. Air. McCarthy, S.M., delivered judgment in a case-to-day, brought by the Inspector against Henry Baker, licensee of the Club Hotel, of selling milk from an unregistered dairy. Defendant's milk comes in from an unregistered dairy which supplied the hotel with milk. , . The Department held that the supply of milk .with meals, or with drink (such as .whisky and milk) constituted a sale within the meaning of toe Dairy 'noustry Act. , The Magistrate reviewed the ease at length, and held that the provision of milk with meals or drink did not constitute a sale. He gave judgment tor defendant, without costs. x
