THE WEATHER
The following is the Rev. D. C. Bates’ general weather forecast: —There are indications for a cyclonic movement to the north-west of New Zealand. Expect high easterly winds and rain north of East Cape and Kawhia after about 12 hours, increasing northerly thence to Hokitika and Lyttelton, and westerly winds elsewhere, .with a falilng barometer generally.
