Kerr was charged in the Magistrate’s Court with stealing £3O, the property of tho Railway Commissioners, at Marrickville station. Tho Magistrate, on "the ground of lack of tangible evidence, discharged him. [Kerr was a night watchman at Marrickville > and was found bound and gagged. The safe had been opened, and Kerr told a story about a robbery, which was disbelieved.]
