The “Financial Times” referring to the New South Wales loan, says the. impression produced is marked that the colonv is going alioad rathei i.ast. The “Telegraph” states that a poor reception was accorded the New South Wales loan. It indicated that the scrip was at a sixteenth discount, and adds: “A large Canadian loan is reported to he impending.” The “Chronicle” characterises the loan as a sound investment. The “Financial News,” referring to the West Australian loan, states that if true it is impossible to congratulate those responsible for ruling out applicants for £IOO and The sma investor needs consideration, not the big ones only.
