The Manawatu Racing Club last ni"ht received a letter from the HonJ Ormond, stating that his withdrawal of his horses from the late meetin <v was due to his dissatisfaction with Mr Hcnrys’ handicapping. The committee resolved to inform Mr. Ormond that it has full confidence in the nantapper. HASTINGS, May 26.
Dawn, Miscast. Oxton. and Kauronia left tin’s morning for Auckland. The reported breaking down of And ax is apparently correct, for he was absent from the team.
