The country has never had such an extravagant Government, but no Government would care to make an admission of extravagance liv knocking down what they have built up. Therefore if they wish to save their face they should not view with distrust the suggestion for the annointment of a Civil Service Board and Rail wav Commissioners. — “North Otago Times.”
